Best Artefact: "Silkworm" by Judy Stannard "The guidelines for this cushion appeared in a magazine. Most of the pieces of silk are hand-dyed, done in a workshop last summer. I don't do a lot of hand sewing, but I really enjoyed this." |

Best English Village Challenge: "Not Granma Moses" by Robbie Roberton "Swapped green background for red and dyed all appliqué fabrics in coffee. Great fun to do, but a real time waster." Made by hand and machine. |

Best Professional Quilter: "Pieces of Paradise" by Isabel Hall "I fell in love with this fabric but it was too wonderful to cut up. It came at a time when I was feeling blocked and helped to kick-start my creativity." Machine pieced and quilted to a traditional design. |
