2004 Annual Quilt Show

Last year's show was extremely successful for us. Not only did we have a high attendance from the general public, we also had a very high quality of entrant; and good weather too!.

Unusual settings with Squires of Shepperton

Before the opening, the volunteers set up the tent with the hanging equipment, and then at the very last minute put the quilts up. It does make a very impressive sight indeed!.

As the name of our shown suggests - Quilts and Roses - there is much more going on during the weekend.

As well as the fabulous (southern) Rose Championship from the Royal National Rose Society, Mr Squire also lays on entertainment for all including music and farm yard animals.

Here are some of the extremely cute, if not a little smelly, animals on show.

At the end of the Sunday, we have a prize giving ceremony celebrating the award of prizes and rosettes.

Mr Squire kindly performs this duty and also chooses the Challenge Quilt winner.

Again thanks is due to Squires Garden Centres for graciously hosting our Annual Show.
