"A few years ago I bought some fabric in Texas and several quilting friends each made me blocks in a pattern called GREEN MOUNTAIN, which is the part of the United States my family comes from and is also the name of my quilting shop, where we all meet up to sew. I’ve added the borders and quilting and now have a wonderful memento of all the good times we spend in each other’s company."

"I wanted to do this design and enjoyed the hand piecing using Fossil Ferns in the colours of my native Whitstable sunsets. The design is reminiscent of the traditional Star of Bethlehem pattern but it is inverted to make this Medallion quilt top. I pieced the top and Isabel Hall quilted it on her Gammie. Quilting pattern is 'Petaluma'."

"My remnants box was getting so full I decided to take out all the beige – white “background” fabrics and make a quick quilt for my conservatory. I made this itsy-bits-and-wonky-strips quilt, padded the leftovers to two other friends to do the same and somehow I still have a full project bag of white / beige fabrics, plus my original remnants box which is just as full as before the 'purge'!"
