Although they may be young in years, our junior quilters
show fine qualities that are associated more with our older hands!. We
are extremely proud of their works shown here and their significant
contribution to the show.
1st: "Bodice" by Kate Stannard (age 15)
"This was my submission for my GCSE Textiles. The brief was to make a bodice
that had an Indian theme."

"I found some old cotton material of my Grandma’s and decided I would try
to make a quilt top. I had to do lots of unpicking at first but finally did
it. I have already started my second one with new material this time."
