2006 Annual Quilt Show
The 2006 show took place at the end of June and represents the culmination of our quilting year. You will find all the results, quilts, information, etc within the subpages found via the menu below. Rather than lots of blurb, we have presented more photos than normal. Enjoy!
The prestigous "Best In Show" went to Audrey Critchley this year for her superb "Pompeii I", an original design which was machine quilted and then embellished. The result is quite stunning and the prize well deserved. See her actually receive her prize below.
We needed some help to put up the "Thameside Quilters" banner outside to show everyone where we were - as if they didn't know from the chatting inside! Here is one of our excellent volunteers helping erect it - many thanks to all our volunteers for their invaluable help over the weekend.
