2007 Quilt Show Results - Wall Size Quilts
The wall sized quilts are those deemed to be too big for the miniature category but too small for bed sized. Their use can be very varied, e.g. cuddle quilts or wall hangings. This explains the wonderful variety of vibrant entrants in this category.
1st: "Sunset Strippy" by Paula Doyle
"This quilt was made using the MakOwer Ombre fabrics which shade from light to dark over the width of the fabric. This is my attempt to make a minimalist landscape quilt and I loved using all the colours."
Machine Pieced, Machine Quilted, Embellished, Original Design.

"Wall Hanging in Clarice Cliff style. Hand Appliqued & quilted. Stained glass window design."

3rd: "Buggy Barn Stars" by Brenda Bailey
"Made at a workshop with Log Cabin Quilters in Hartley Whitney. This is used by my grandchildren in the cot when they sleep over."
