Next Meeting

In September we have Paula Doyle leading a Colourwash Quilt mini-workshop

Paula will be showing us the technique on how to make our very own stunning Colourwash Wreath Quilt - see Club Notices for a sample photo.

Bring 2½" x 2½" rotary cut squares of multicoloured floral prints (at least 24 of the squares large scale dark value fabric, 48 squares medium scale medium value, and 72 squares small scale light value - we will be sharing all these squares on the evening to get the variety needed, so you can cut all the squares using just 40 cm of a light value-small scale print, 20 cm of a medium scale-medium value print, and just 15 cm of a large scale-dark value print)), a 36" square of backing fabric, and some pins, and learn the technique used for these stunning quilts by making our Colourwash Wreath Quilt. Pattern and instruction will provided during this informative and fun-filled evening.

All meetings will be held at The Magna Carta School, Staines. If you are bringing a car along, please feel free to park in their car park which is along St Paul's Road at the back of St Paul's Church. Meetings start at 7.30pm and finish approximately at 9.30pm. Please note the doors will be open from 7pm if you fancy coming along early for a natter.

The Thameside Quilters are delighted to invite both our membership and non-members to attend. Please note that there is a small fee to pay to cover insurances and facilities.

Please do not send any post to the School. If you need to post anything, please get in touch for postal address!
