Thameside Quilters 2019 Programme


Thameside Quilters is a local group of diverse and friendly quilt enthusiasts. We welcome all levels of quilters, from absolute beginners to experts, from traditional quilters to fibre artists. If you are a quilter or would be quilter who wants to meet like-minded people then we would love you to come and join us!


We meet at the Greeno Centre, 45 Glebeland Gardens, Shepperton, TW17 9DH. Parking is available. Our regular monthly meeting is usually on the third Friday of each month between February and November, from 7:45 - 9:45pm (doors open at 7:15pm) Coffee and tea provided free.


The annual membership fee is £30, non-member guests are very welcome at £5 per meeting payable at the door. First  meeting is  free

Thameside Quilters Workshops

Workshops take place at Lyne Village Hall, Lyne near Chertsey, KT16 0AN. Tuition fee £25 for Members and £40 for Non Members, £10 non refundable deposit on date of sign up. Quiltathon – Members £10 Non Members £20.   Quilts made are to be handed in by the October meeting   9:30 - 4pm. Doors open at 9am.

 Sign up for workshops at our regular meetings. Spaces are limited so sign up early.

 Bring a mug and a packed lunch. Coffee and tea provided free. Parking is free.

 27 April Workshop: Quiltathonwith Isabel Hall.   “Spinning Hexagons” 60 degree ruler advised but templates will be issued.  Quilts made are to be handed in by the October Meeting

19 August Back to Basics: Topics - Rotary Cutting, the importance of the 1/4”, Foundation Piecing, English Paper Piecing, and Binding.
