We are a really mixed group of all ages, skills, talents and experience. Members are extremely friendly and supportive and also enjoy a good chat too! New members are always welcome, why not come down and see for yourself? See Contact Us for more information. |

NOTICE St Peter's hospital has put out a plea for more Incubator covers. Any help on this would be gratefully appreciated. Our tenth annual exhibition of Patchwork and Quilting will take place on the 21st and 22nd of June 2008.
Unfortunately, due to re-development work at the Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton we have had to find an alternative venue for 2008. The 2008 Quilts show will now be held at St. David's Girl's school in Ashford. See Annual Show Info for more information. The main prize for our annual raffle this year is another beautiful colourwash quilt (see picture on right). This quilt was predominently made with fabric left over from last year's quilt ! Many thanks to all our members who generously donated the fabric and to Paula Doyle, Pam Thompson and Isabel Hall who designed and created it. All proceeds from the Raffle Quilt, Quilt Show plus our general fundraising throughout the year are donated to our chosen local charity for the year, voted for by our members. This year's main charity is Spelthorne Crossroads Care. It aims to provide practical and emotional support to people who are caring for a disabled or ill person of any age. From our fund raising during 2006-2007, we are able to donate a cheque for £2000 to the Penrose Club. Well done everyone. Here's hoping that this year is equally successful. |

Throughout the year we have a variety of different days and evenings which include quilting demonstrations, special guest speakers, Chinese auctions, workshops and quizzes amongst a comprehensive list of quilting and patchwork related activities.
We try to make it as interesting and diverse as possible to meet a vast range of personal interests. Why not come along on a Monday evening and find out for yourself? Or get in contact with us via email to find out more? |

As well as having much fun at our monthly meetings with our speakers, show & tell sessions and experience sharing, the group also aims to raise money for our local charity which is chosen by our members each year. Our charity this year is the Spelthorne Crossroads Care. It aims to provide practical and emotional support to people who are caring for a disabled or ill person of any age. Our charity for 2006-2007 was The Penrose Club in Ashford. This is a social club for adults with special needs which is mainly run by volunteers. Our charity for 2005-2006 was The Mulberry Centre, the cancer support and information centre at the West Middlesex Hospital. |
