Please use a subdued coloured backing as these quilts remain at the hospital and they should be able to withstand

frequent washing.

Toddlers to Teenagers

Bright fun quilts of a variety of sizes to suit all ages. . These quilts must have a Thameside Quilters Label attached.

  • Quilts For Care Leavers. These are for young people aged 18 who are leaving the Care Programme and starting to live independently. The sizes for quilts are very specific, and must be adhered to (please!)

    Quilts no smaller than 44” x 66”. The length is critical - no less than 66”, please.

    Quilts no larger than 54” x 72”. The width is critical - no wider than 54”, please.

  • Bonding Squares, in pairs. One goes inside Mum’s bra to get her scent, which is then placed with her baby to give comfort.

4”x 4” to 6”x 6”, no bigger

No wadding, just 2 pieces of cotton, turned and top-stitched.
